Silver Note
This finely made keyblade is not only capable of attacking the darkness, but piercing it. When in its keyblade form, Silver Note functions as a longsword as detailed on Pg. 75 of the Tri-Start dX Core Rulebook, with the exception that any creature of Darkness which it kills is permanently destroyed. As a free action, Silver Note can transform into an electric guitar (for maximum rocking) or an acoustic guitar (for maximum kabonging; treat as a longsword for damage purposes).

While a keyblade or acoustic guitar, Silver Note grants the wielder a +1 bonus to Defense Combat Value for each rank of Item of Power. (Currently +2.)

Bio:

Sylvia Sondheim – Songblade

Stage name: Jade Blue Afterglow
IP/World: Jem and the Holograms (independent artist)

Songs: When I Grow up – Pussycat Dolls / Evacuate the Dance Floor – Cascada

Birthed in 1986 from Anytown, USA, there is a rock and roll revolution in pink, blue, silver, and gold: dozens of bands are vying for fame amongst the glitz and glamour of the rock scene. Most famously, Jem and the Holograms and their rivals, the Misfits and the Stingers, rock the headlines with their vicious competitions, resulting in the near deaths of all sides. Politicians, religious organizations, and citizens alike have urged all bands to cease their self-destructive rivalry, and instead focus on one thing, the music.

As such, music is regulated in a friendly, but stern, way with the intention of preventing major conflicts from spiralling out of control. Now, on the cusp of the 1990’s, battles of the bands remain on stage. That was, of course, until it became evident that someone, or something, wasn’t playing by the rules. Corrupted by the dark, ever-reaching tendrils of the Heartless, music is slowly becoming outlawed by a corrupt government trying to prevent them from using that music for its purest purpose: as a weapon.

Both seeking more profitable venues, and hoping for a solution to the downward spiral on her word, Sylvia “Jade” Sondheim, singer and frontwoman for the band Jade Blue Afterglow is on her way to Arndalr for a signing when trouble starts..

Sylvia uses a transforming Keytar as a weapon, delivering sonic attacks with concussive force, as well as in-your-face melee overtunes. No, that’s not a typo, it’s a pun. Come on. Additionally, her slick dance moves and impeccable taste in (1980’s glamrock) fashion is sure to set the stage for a great battle against the Heartless.
